It’s considering all variables accurately. Your breath as you breath out, the making the target come to you visually, the power of the weapon, gravity, temperature, wind speed, angle and more often then not, patience. And that’s just making the shot. There’s also blending so no one can see you, ghosting other people and sniper’s, and dealing with enemies in many ways, if things go south.

    I’m sure a 50cal will reach out further than a 338

  12. Casey Ford on January 24, 2023 at 1:47 am

I try to explain, but making the shot combines all variable’s to successfully accomplish your goal and or missions.

All good rifles but at the end of the day it’s the person behind the scope that makes these good rifles.

You notice they dont mention the McMillan TAC .338. I’ll take that rifle any day over the rifles they showed. And if you fired one you understand what i mean.

When the sniper shoots, the bullets make a popping sound, during their disappearance. The gunshots arrive later, because the bullets are faster than sound. Males copy the sound of the disappearing bullets, by hitting objets, metals and wood together, or sliding objects back and forth. When the sniper aims, he aims at the cigar.

What white rifle model is listed in the YouTube picture?

  28. Russell Keeling on January 24, 2023 at 2:08 am

These manufacturers sure are pushing these rifles. I’ll pass, they’re to heavy to carry in the woods and I don’t plan on being a sniper. I can get the job done at much less expense with a rifle that doesn’t look like a skeleton.

  29. wegmandan on January 24, 2023 at 2:09 am

I have the Savage, B 111 338 Lmagnum. I’m not looking for that most expensive and I don’t want the cheapest but what is the mid-range? For a scope? I’m looking at the vortex venom 5- 5 x56. I bought a scope from the manufacturers engineer? And they called that The offspring global? When I cited that in at 300 yards. But after the 14th shot that zero at 300 turn to a, approximate 2:00 but my scope outer didn’t rotate. Looking forward to a quality scope that can handle the recoil of a 338 Lapua Magnum and doesn’t cost me to work 5000 Grand. I do side with the vortex venom 5 – 25 * 56 so far. But I don’t want to pay if it’s going to fail?

7:40 really?😆 the casing is still attached and the primers still on it untouched. Unrealistic logic lolWas that on purpose?? Lol

  34. SweetMooch on January 24, 2023 at 2:14 am

Desert tech srs? Major oversight to not include it. Imo.

    PGM, the best

  36. Joe tuktyyuktuk on January 24, 2023 at 2:15 am

That animation at the beginning, showing the bullet flying with the case and primer is hilarious. It amazes me how many people don’t know even the basics of how a firearm operates.

  37. Bobby Agee on January 24, 2023 at 2:18 am

One of the greatest misconceptions often made and overlooked is racticle placement. The greater the distance the more resistance. Rounds dont travel in a straight line. Thus direct placement of the articles (cross hairs) is not accurate when shooting greater than 440yrd or within a quarter mile.

  38. Skip Mitchell on January 24, 2023 at 2:21 am

You lost me when you showed the while cartridge flying instead of the bullet

I’d like to see a realistic list of precision rifles for the best and most high-end weapons you can buy or build there’s a big difference between a sniper rifle and a precision rifle
