    Any of my 6 1911s, SA35, HK VP9, or my FN FNX. 45 all take their rotations being my night stand home defense gun. This week is my HK VP9 with a Streamlight TLR 1, 1,000 lumen mounted light. That is on top of my Smith and Wesson 586 4 inch .357 magnum and Ruger SuperRedhawk Alaskan loaded with .44 specials. And 2 .28 specials stashed away just in case.

    HK 45 usp expert! For home defense I first go to my Mossberg 12 gauge 590 tactical with 9 rounds! Nothing like the sound of a pump action shot gun to send hoods running!

    If we’re talking about home defense, then reliability has to be key. CZ would have probably been among my top choices if not my top choice for that reason. Probably the p9 compact or the p10.

    What handguns are best for a girl I’m into handguns I have a few I practice shooting often but for a women with smaller hands and I am going to train her on shooting I just want to be confident with what would help her learn and defend herself

    I would go with a modify lightweight desert eagle 50 caliber on one hand and a sig p226 legion on the other hand. One would completely stop the robber but in case it misses the other one has ammo and repeated fire action and low recoil to stop them even if they move side to side quick. Better yet 2 modify lightweight desert eagle. The pushback would be so great they would have very little chance to fire back
