Top 5 Nicest Gun Manufacturers
Top 5 Nicest Gun Manufacturers
We’ve done a lot of interviews with gun manufacturers at Shot Show and NRA in the past several years. And there are some great ones and some not so great ones. This is our list of the nicest ones out there.

I love me some Ruger. I own about 10 of them and counting! Ruger is the working man’s gun and the Lord loves a working man so he loves Ruger too!
And on the far other end is H&K.
Beautiful products , but absolutely wants nothing to do with private citizens.
Has anyone had any experience with Springfield Armory? Was distracted when he said S&W.
Sig is my # 1 spot in WORST customer service; some magazines I ordered from their website never came….I called to complain, and just wanted my magazines, they said they would resend some more……they never came😒😡
All-time favorite pistol is my LBCC.
Just curious what kind of experiences you’ve had with Charter Arms since I have 3 of their products. Hopefully they are on the nice side and not the snobby. 🙂
I have used sig sauer and Ruger customers service department and I agree they are the nicest people they you will ever meet congratulations to two great firearm manufacturers…
How about Mossberg?
How did Glock company people behave when you came into contact with them ?
I love your channel and try to watch all your videos. I am retired, an NRA Life member, and have been around firearms my entire life. I couldn’t agree more with your top 5. I met Les Baer at an NRA annual meeting a few years ago and we had a great conversation.
On the flip side while attending an NRA annual meeting I stopped at the Glock booth, I thought Glock made a very good and reliable pistol. The young man I talked to at the booth was extremely arrogant and even criticized a question I had regarding double strike / second-strike capabilities. He questioned my knowledge regarding guns and shooting and was very condescending. So much for young people respecting, or even being polite, to those older than them. My experience with that young man turned me off, and I will never own a Glock. However my very positive experience at the Sig booth resulted in a few Sigs now in my collection. A little courtesy and respect goes a long way.
Keep up the good work!
Link for the GFG gear doesn’t seem to be working.
You might want to try talking to the people who actually work at the factory before you say nice.
I agree with Sig, Ruger and Smith &Wesson never had experience with other two
Happy SIG owner, here! Nice to know there are nice people behind such great guns!
Most of us do not go to the big Gun Shows ( Shot Show& NRA), so we have no idea who has the biggest booth or who is the nicest for a few days. I can’t argue with your choices, as I can agree with most, but they are indeed your choices. But Nice gun manufactures are those that hold true to the standards you mentioned all year. With that being said, I have to say that North American Arms is a wonderful, and NICE, gun manufacturer. Their customer service department is one of the best I’ve had to use. They are concerned for all of their customers, act fast, and go above and beyond in all of their dealing. They may not have the nicest or biggest booth at the show, but far outweigh the competition in service and courtesy. North American Arms; my choice for number 1!
I agree with your mfg. nice guy service, but charter arms are high on my list, always there when a question or problem is present, whether by phone or service or repair to parts. an AMERICAN co. that is solid in many ways. thanks and GOD BLESS!
colt please
Sig from here in New Hampshire! We are very cordial people!
The blond Sig lady at the ShotShow 2017 was so nice, she took time to explain everything then gave me some free hats before I left.
What about Cooper firearms? They have been great with me.
Connecticut Shotgun manufacturing?
In my experience by dealing with customer service.
Best list would be..
Smith and Wesson.
Ruger
Bond Arms.
The Absolute worst manufacture I have dealt with was Taurus.
Glad to see Ruger high on the list. I sent back my SR22 because of feeding issues. They replaced a spring and sent it back – in a new box with a new nylon carry pouch and a new magazine. Talk about going above and beyond!
Hi God, I would like to add the Colt Umarex parts people, and the GSG parts people, that I dealt with when I needed some parts replaced. They were very nice and very helpful. God Bless you, keith
When my ruger bx-25 magazine failed to feed ammo to the rifle I notified ruger and they sent me a brand new magazine no charge and a year later ruger called me and asked me how I was and how did the new magazine perform.
I do feel called to donate brother, but my wife has all my money 😆. I love u all the same!
OK. Now you gotta do "Top 5 Not Nice Gun Manufacturers" !
As always a great video and great scripture at the end – ‘preciate ya brother. R.W. Frazier (N. Louisiana)
I have a ruget security 6 customized by Baer when he was a pa gunsmith.
Les Baer CS once told me that they would not bobtail the magwell of a full sized 1911 on my custom order bc of anticipated integrity issues…so I then bought two custom Ed Browns with bobtails.
Your top2 are my favorites
Have heard multiple times how excellent is Ruger’s customer service. The folks that run my range said the same thing. I was missing a grip screw on off of one of my revolvers. I called them up , with bank card in hand. The woman was very nice and polite. She asked for serial number and then my mailing address. Then she tells me, “we’ll get that shipped right to you”.
Over the years have been around and owned Ruger revolvers, 10/22, and mini-14.
Gotta say Ruger builds these products that are solid, reliable, and reasonably priced….PLUS Outstanding customer service. (And here in the states at that)
+1 for Ruger
it’s not remington.
Glad to hear S&W makes the list. I now own five S&W firearms all purchased in the past five years. All reliable and well built. My last purchase, a M&P 22 did have an ejection issue. I emailed S&W and the next day I received an email from them saying to send the gun back to them. The email contained a FedEx shipping label and instructions. I packed it up and called FedEx, they picked it up the following day. S&W said it can take at least four weeks to have the gun returned. Two weeks and one day later I received an email my repaired gun was on its way back to by FedEx and no charge. It’s service like that will keep loyalty to a gun manufacturer. I haven’t tested it yet due to weather but soon.
I would like to be a spokeman for yout gums if i can keep the to ill have a gun collection i cant afford guns its the onlyway that both of us get happy please thik about it granniesboy1223@gmail.com
👌👍

But are you basing this on a shot show experience ?? OF COURSE THEY ARE GOING TO BE NICE. Try dealing with these manufacturers and their customer sevice when you have a serious issue with one of their over priced firearms. The first one you mentioned was Sig. I had to deal with them for a year and a half over a poorly made malfunctioning firearm. A year and a half ! They were jerks. Finally got it resolved, and I will never purchase another Sig product. Ever… Deal with customer service, then talk about how nice they are, or aren’t.
Not sure how they are in person but over the phone and via email, Rock Island Armory is always so nice to me. Thanks for the video! 👍🏼
All but Les are on my shopping list. Would love to own a Les Baer but I don’t favor the need of a 1911.
you hit the nail on the head with this one! i called S&W up and asked the CSR about my father’s 5" 1948 5-screw 38 special. told her how he got it on his 30th birthday from my mother, and he was shocked to find it wasn’t a 2lb box of chocolates. found out that putting all 6 in the bull at 25yds was what made this wheel gun great, and a little history, too. made my day–great folks! btw: i still have my dad’s USMC marksmanship medals and awards he won with this beautiful pistol!
I love my FN FNS40. How are the people at FN? Has anyone had problems with them?
As a customer, at this past NRA Convention in Indy, I agree Sig Sauer was by far the best. However, Ruger was the most arrogant, and that was disappointing.
Les Baer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bad Manufacturers- SCCY and Smith & Wesson
I think you just sold me A 1911 from Les.
After I pay off this Christmas. Nicely done.
I found the Windham Weaponry people to be the nicest and Colt to be flat out rude.
thank u sir
It is great to hear Sig is still great. I was likewise happy to hear Les Baer is a very personable guy. I will have one of his weapons some day.
Nice video Pastor. God bless.
Nicest gun companies I’VE ment was Dan Coonan, took time to talk to everyone and even stayed stayed after the show and kept chatting. The guy from Henery was over and above polite, respectful and very informative. The guy from s&w was super nice as well. Guy from Savage seemed nice but didn’t get much time with him.
