U-Loader for AR/AK + AR10 Review (Magazine Speed Loader)

U-Loader for AR/AK + AR10 Review (Magazine Speed Loader)

This is an unboxing and review of the U-Loader by Podavach which is a speed loader. The first version that I review is the U-LOADER *Basic* AR15+AK. As you will see in the video, I found these to best work with Magpul PMAGS for 556 and the Bulgarian waffle magazines for speed loading the 762X39. I also tested Lancer magazines, GI magazines and a Promag. The AR 10 U-Loader ran flawlessly with the magpul AR10 magazines and I absolutely loved it.

I had trouble at first too. All you have to do is hit the rounds with a running start. If you try to just push them in its trouble. Hold off the round a few inches and slam into it. Works like a charm.

I own one and think the person who invented this should have a statue built in his honor.

Great video… I was about to purchase two… not wasting my money now.

  6. Hairy PeNise on February 25, 2023 at 2:06 am

Will it work on mags that are cinched together or would they have to be separated every time you load?

  7. Catt Melvin on February 25, 2023 at 2:07 am

Yes this is the best video I have seen. Show you how much trouble this thing is……

This seems like more of a lack of upper body strength problem.

If you don’t already have CCW insurance, consider joining USCCA with a special offer through We Run Guns here usccapartners.com/werunguns to get started. This link provides you with EXTRA PERKS, BONUSES or DISCOUNTS for joining and a small portion goes towards supporting the channel at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you. I’m personally a paying member and joined USCCA because I believe it’s a great service should you EVER be in a self-defense scenario. You’ll get access to a criminal defense attorney 24/7, 365 days a year, bail covered, and criminal/civil defense costs covered up to the amount you choose when you sign up. In addition to legal protection across all 50 states/ US territories, you’ll get access to training resources, legal education, and a reciprocity map with state specific gun laws. Personally, the best part I like about USCCA is that you can choose your own attorney (unlike competitors) to ensure a high quality defense should you need it.

I just got my podavach in today after waiting 7-8 weeeks & this piece of shit doesn’t want load in the mag since 7.62 & 5.56 binds. Shit pisses me off I’m going to what grind & rub the shit out of it which wish I didn’t spend so much on a inferior product 😡

  11. Gengis Khan on February 25, 2023 at 2:19 am

Works better if you place the mag before you insert the ammo

  12. Double ZZ Ranch on February 25, 2023 at 2:20 am

Hate loading them, but love download each mag 😂

    Woot woot 👍🏼🇺🇸

  18. John Doe on February 25, 2023 at 2:27 am

Thats stupid… the time it takes to line the bullets up u could load them in the clip without that

  19. Alaskan Ballistics on February 25, 2023 at 2:28 am

    Looks useful

  20. Zzz... on February 25, 2023 at 2:30 am

Looks like it’s quite difficult to get them in sometimes, but man it is satisfying to insert all of those rounds in one go.

  21. Tristan Guzman on February 25, 2023 at 2:30 am

this makes things so much easier at the range, I actually spend mosst of my time shooting rather than loading.

  22. J05hFontenot on February 25, 2023 at 2:30 am

Does this work with sks mags too?

  23. Damon Tan on February 25, 2023 at 2:32 am

Doesn’t look smooth at all, you should get it returned or exchanged. Maybe the missing base point is screwing with the alignment that is needed for smooth loading

  24. Grant l on February 25, 2023 at 2:33 am

I debated this, but might stick to just my Maglula

  25. John Doe on February 25, 2023 at 2:33 am

Looks like the curvature may need a lookin into

  26. jodopeg on February 25, 2023 at 2:33 am

If you stack one round onto the magazine first, then feed in 29, it’s easier to start …….. 😊

  27. some asian guy on February 25, 2023 at 2:34 am

Do you think the plastic version would be easier to ram? Because wood is very nice but does not seem as good for handling stress pushing the line of cartridges in

  28. Will-Man Prince-Walker on February 25, 2023 at 2:37 am

What a POS , throw that junk in the trash

  29. TʜᴇCʏɴᴅɪᴄᴀᴛᴇ on February 25, 2023 at 2:38 am

All of these devices are stupid. I saw the "MAGPUMP" thing(cost $400) too. You have to orientate all of the rounds. It takes the same amount of time to orientate the rounds, as it does to just put them in the magazine.

AR mags are $10 bucks. You can get 40 AR mags for $400. So you can have 40 mags, ready to go, in less time, for the same money.

These devices are only really valid for shooters with disabilities. Other than that, they offer zero advantage and that will stay that way until they figure out how to auto orientate the rounds in hopper.

The homemade jobs I’ve seen on here look a lot more user friendly! I’ll build my own tomorrow AND I’ll make sure I install all 4 scuff protectors on the bottom! LOL

    good video

  32. Kris1log on February 25, 2023 at 2:43 am

    Nice shirt!! 👍🏼👍🏼

  33. Felix Levario on February 25, 2023 at 2:43 am

Does this work for the AR 5.56?

  34. SD Ranch on February 25, 2023 at 2:44 am

What I’ve found is loading 1 round manually then using the loader for the rest seems to work

  35. RobertWainright on February 25, 2023 at 2:47 am

I just hate it when they called LR/SR308 a AR-10. Two different set up.

  36. Blasphemy on February 25, 2023 at 2:48 am

    Oooh, that sound

  37. Brent Johnston on February 25, 2023 at 2:48 am

ok so i dont want to hate on any form but you need to take the palm of your hand and press down on the top of the mag that will solve most loading issues you are having. I haven’t seen any issue with speed or jamming when done correctly

  38. Silver Grizzly on February 25, 2023 at 2:52 am

    That was painful, sorry dude.

  39. Knight Mech on February 25, 2023 at 2:53 am

5.56 gives me problems but 7.62 is much easier to load

  40. Noah Joye on February 25, 2023 at 2:54 am

My friend bright one of these to the range today and it made loading my mags so easy I am definitely going to buy one

  41. Mike Cleveland on February 25, 2023 at 2:57 am

I just got my u-loader. I have several different ar-15 steel mags, hexmags, and PMAGS. The PMAGS gave me the most problem. It loaded all of my AK mags and my vz.58 mags seamlessly.
