In this video we attempt to burn out an AR-15 upper on an M16 lower. We are testing the durability of not only the upper receiver assembly but few specific products as well including the SRC Relia-Bolt BCG, Geissele Super Gas Block, and one of the most affordable AR barrels on the market from Faxon Firearms.
The results may surprise you.

In the rifle gas system the gas tube is the one to blow before barrel. In the m4 barrel will blow first .

In reality no one shoots like this in real combat.
890 rounds in what… 10 minutes?
That’s insane
They are a good rifle but if I went into battle I’d opt for a AK everyday
I’m wondering wether this was a calculated risk based on experience or your just plain brave and nuts . Whichever it is stay safe and your downloads are riveting . I just have to keep watching . 🙏

Here is how the military works where I served for 20 years. We only got about 10 to 15 rounds to zero our M-16’s. We then went to a qualification range where we got 40 rounds for qualification shooting popup targets at 25 meters to 300 meters. This amount of ammo was all we got for once a year but some years I didn’t shoot at all depending upon where stationed. We also could only shoot our M-16’s on semiautomatic. In 20 years I only fired an old Vietnam era M-16 on full automatic for one magazine in basic training at Fort Dix, NJ. The M-16A2’s we had only had a three round burst because the Army found in studies of Vietnam firefights, muzzle climb wasted enormous amounts of ammunition after the first three rounds. Sometimes for nightfire we got to shoot tracer rounds but again on semiautomatic only. At an M60 range or SAW range you got some rounds to zero, then maybe you shot two or three belts of ammunition with the assistant gunner lucky to get that much. So I sort of like this channel because they explain firearms history. I guess what I am trying to say here is Eric shot more ammunition in this video than I did serving 20 years on active duty including Persian Gulf service. So in the real world, soldiers in the service and support MOS’s are NOT allowed to shoot ammunition like this ever.
Life sure was good 6 years ago
no wonder so many school shooting happen in USA .. why the F would people need that kind of weapon at home
Plot twist he’s the only one on the range
We need an m27 meltdown
You can cook frozen pizza with the barrel 😂😂😂😂😂

🙂 i like that weapon . it’s cool 🙂
Here, in Brazil, I need to work hard for 2 years to buy an AR-15 and more 2 years to buy 1000 rounds. Here unfortunately it’s very expensive! God Bless America end The free people from this country!
I had an AR fail catastrophically on me before. Luckily it failed in the right direction and neither me nor anyone else were hurt.
Before anyone asks, no, it wasn’t mine, it was my neighbors. Generally he’s quite knowledgable about firearms, but he admits to having made a mistake when fiddling with the gas system. Just glad we were all okay.
The sound it makes is just so cool
still AK is the best btw
And Darcy real name is natterly axfell and I told Darcy when or if you find me tell me your name is Darcy
