Upgrades For The Thompson Center Venture

Thompson Center Venture

Taking a Look at the T/C Venture
Before the Venture, Thompson/Center produced the T/C Icon, a beast of a rifle with weight to match the price tag. However, they soon realized they needed to find a way to reach a wider audience.

In 2009, the T/C Venture hit the market. This model was an economical version of the T/C Icon.

As a result, T/C produced a budget-friendly, light-weight hunting rifle with match grade features. A perfect fit for any shooter at an entry-level price.

Why You Should Add an Aftermarket Bolt Handle
Most shooters find as they continue shooting, that their factory gun doesn’t cut it. They either add aftermarket replacement parts or upgrade to a model with a higher price tag and beefier features.

One of the ways to add a personal touch to your TC Venture while increasing its functionality is to replace the bolt handle. While this rifle’s bolt handle doesn’t have any issues, it also isn’t customizable, which is where Anarchy Outdoors comes in.

Anarchy Outdoors offers a customizable bolt handle precision machined from 17-4 Stainless steel. This bolt handle fits the specs of the T/C Venture and can a wide selection of 5/16 X 24 TPI bolt knobs designed by Anarchy Outdoors.

We also carry a Black Nitride option. This field-tested finish improves all operational capabilities of your handle to diminish corrosion.

Most underrated sub $600 hunting rifle on the market. I have the original but wish someone, anyone, made and aftermarket trigger for this pos that is in it now.

What they don’t show is after you compress the bolt body you have to take a small brass punch and tap the bolt handle out because it is to tight to remove by hand

Would it be possible to have aftermarket replacements for the Hogue panels (e.g., with checkering)?

For a so-called budget rifle this seems to be a very sturdy design am I wrong?

My TC Venture 30-06 shot a 3/4” group with Hornady ammo first time I shot it. Sure it would be nice if the mags were better but it’s a damn good shooter for the money.
