Hey Paul…. I have a couple Walthers center fires…. Got a S&W M&P .22lr. made by Walther full size and think they stopped making them now….. I have at least 25,000 rds. through it n everyone enjoys shooting it.. Trigger is good for a non-target .22lr. pistol and not a scratch on it nor any wearing on slide stop….Great finish on this pee shooter…. It just runs n runs…. Yeah I have target pistols like High-Standards, S&W Victory n Ruger Mark 2.3.4’s, Buckmark, ect. but it’s a good pistol for the youngster’s n people who have issues with recoil.. I wish ya luck getting your "stock" back from the ATF…. Remind Everyone to Vote this Nov…..There is NO FREE STATES ANYMORE….Just takes a Pen to sign a Anti-2A Law….Join the GOA…. Thanks for the video Paul. When It comes to 22lr you never know how they might perform . Some are just picky about ammo.

A beautiful little gun with style and function.

Thank you, Paul. I have the Walther P22Q with 3, 10-round magazines. It has served me well.

    I have a Walther PPX in 9mm.
Totally love it. It’s the best shooting semi-auto handgun that I own. Very accurate.
Thanks, Paul, for your hard work on making these videos. You rock!

Nice shooting Tex. I have one with the extended barrel option and it malfunctions all the time. I’ve done some work on it and it’s better, but I wouldn’t buy another Walther that’s for sure.

  16. Erol Kavlak on March 1, 2023 at 2:49 am

    Good morning, Paul
Nice vid, but I’ll stick to my PPK .380 from 1956 that my father had. He loved the PP .32 I gifted him in 1974…in.22lr I’ll keep my Rugers 22/45…

  17. Randy Mason on March 1, 2023 at 2:50 am

    It’s the ammo

  18. Daniel Day on March 1, 2023 at 2:51 am

Thank you Paul for the video…

  19. Randle Richardson on March 1, 2023 at 2:51 am

The ejection holes I call them get stopped up some and they do with 22 caliber bad it won’t grab the fired hull on the edges my Marlin 22 rifle does it after so many 100’s of rounds. 22 rounds burn dirty big time for some reason and it clogs everything up

  20. TheTonygong on March 1, 2023 at 2:54 am

    Looks great, thanks for sharing

  21. Peter Monck on March 1, 2023 at 2:55 am

Poor old Barbasol. Ka Boom 💥

  22. Chris Gabbert on March 1, 2023 at 2:55 am

🤷‍♂️ it’s 22 . The ammunition is nasty at best and trashy with the lesser quality stuff.

  23. Randle Richardson on March 1, 2023 at 2:56 am

The rounds different rounds I mean burn cleaner than other rounds to. I’ve been noticing people shooting 22 long rifle rounds lately and they smoke more than they used to. Needs a hotter ignition in some of the brands of 22 caliber rounds be safe out there and my friend and GOD BLESS

  24. Jeffry Richardson on March 1, 2023 at 2:57 am

    Really enjoy mine!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸

  25. R Oakey on March 1, 2023 at 2:58 am

Ran 100 rounds of Aguila 40 grain standard velocity through mine with no malfunctions at all.

  26. Daniel Liggins on March 1, 2023 at 2:58 am

    Cool. 22, thanks, Paul.

  27. rockn raptor on March 1, 2023 at 2:58 am

Any gun can be picky especially a 22! I still like it, don’t care for that safety on the rear but its not bad. Good job 👍

  28. David Taylor on March 1, 2023 at 2:59 am

Just bought a p22q,shoots great with mini mags,no mistakes or problems in 300 rounds, it’s a great little pistol

  29. Ken Worland on March 1, 2023 at 2:59 am

I’ve had horrible luck with Winchester 22lr out of handguns!?! I see you brought out the fancy shave cream! lol!

I really like Walther hand guns , I have the 1911 colt and it is a sweet shooter , Thank You for the review

  33. Alan Helton on March 1, 2023 at 3:01 am

Thank you for the content HM

  34. Randle Richardson on March 1, 2023 at 3:02 am

Lots of people say the 22 is not powerful enough for defense but I beg the differ I wouldn’t want to be shot by one I’ll put it that way. Most of the time the 22 bullet goes in and bounces around inside tearing apart whatever is in the way.

  35. WHO_TEE_WHO on March 1, 2023 at 3:03 am

Don’t think I’ve ever tried one of those

  36. D.J. Presswood on March 1, 2023 at 3:04 am

Nice!! I have a Walther Creed 9mm Love It! Thanks Paul for the video!!!

  37. SE Michigan Andy on March 1, 2023 at 3:04 am

I really like Walthers. One of the problems with .22 is that some rounds get the gun really dirty in a hurry. Anyway, nice gun and great job on the shaving cream.

  38. Lance Kelly on March 1, 2023 at 3:06 am

    Nice pistol, thanks Paul 👋👋

  39. mr hamburger on March 1, 2023 at 3:07 am

I like Walters but I don’t like the plastic ones but I could never afford one of those nice p38s or the PPKs or the PP

  40. Joe Morgan on March 1, 2023 at 3:10 am

looks like a nice little pistol

  41. Joel Mcmahan on March 1, 2023 at 3:11 am

Nice to come in from my morning walk around the farm and find a new video from SIR, Paul @ HEAVY METAL. like yourself I’ve shot good and not so good tools from this maker. Thank You Allen for sharing this nice pc for a video. Still bites in the bum to see my friend Paul’s cases empty in the store. As always a👍 and LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL CHANNEL, FAMILY AND FANS. 🔫🎥💯👍💪🏽

I’ve got a little JA 22 that I have running almost reliably after a couple hours of 300 grit, 0000 steel wool and polishing with the Dremel. Still having problems with the last round. Think it’s due to the mag. And yes, 40gr CCI is probably the best 22 ammo!

  43. arthur mulkey on March 1, 2023 at 3:16 am

    Nice looking pistol

  44. Down South on March 1, 2023 at 3:18 am

    Mine didn’t include a holster.
The tool in the plastic bag is to remove the threaded barrel protective cover.
Blackstrap is changed by pushing out a roll pin near the grip base.
CCI mini Mag and CCI Stingers are best overall for this gun.

  45. poor fat man on March 1, 2023 at 3:19 am

    👍

  46. Charles Morgan on March 1, 2023 at 3:19 am

    Walther are nice ! Thanks

  47. Philip Freeman on March 1, 2023 at 3:19 am

I like Walthers my dad brought back one for his brother Walter from WW2 .

  48. Jim Chambers on March 1, 2023 at 3:21 am

I’d love to try the Walther 22, the only Walther I have is my M&P 22 . Mine is the full size, says except Walther and Sig mags. Great video 👍

  49. Randle Richardson on March 1, 2023 at 3:21 am

That is a nice looking pistol now

  50. Michael Cavariani on March 1, 2023 at 3:25 am

It’s definitely the ammo. Since I bought it I’ve used nothing but cci mini mag and cci stingers. I’ve had Zero malfunctions out of it. We all know how 22s are ammo picky. But still a great video. I now know not to use Winchester in it. Thanks Paul
