The Walter PPQ is a new product for 2011. The 9mm Walter PPQ makes a perfect concealed carry pistol. The Walter PPQ is similar ergonomically to the Walter P99. The Walter PPQ is a great alternative to other offering such as those offered by Glock, Springfield or S&W.

I prefer the M1 lever/paddle style mag release over the push button.
I got one love that gun accurate and smooth I’m thinking about putting a big dot on it.

yep i am getting one. I have a ruger 9e and while it’s a good pistol, the sights are not sharp and i have a hard time being really accurate with it where as i shoot most other people’s hand gun’s well. I also don’t really care for the ergo’s although their not bad.
He is a Rex fan boy all his videos are to push the Rex gun .. so I would not trust any review of his . Don’t trust the review but still a good video to watch

cracks me up when people say the mag release is a negative. So much easier to me than my other traditional handguns. Walther then changes it in the version 2 model and now the price on the original goes through the roof because all the walther customers from the past like the original mag release. btw, this is actually a version of the P99, and labeled as such in some markets, but has been changed, probably to reboot o jump start the brand/gun.

Same as P99… in Europe, this is still called the p99. Marketing did a name change for the states.
Do they make a 30 round magazine for that?

Sorry to be blunt about that, the Magazine release is superior for most people, you dont have to alter the grip on the pistol just use a different finger than your thumb this is NOT a thumb release! Most people need to change the grip on pistols to use the thumb on the button as actually, the lever release is objectively better cause it allows all those peole to maintain a grip just by using an index or middlefinger. Its just that that people cant grasp a different finger for mag release as it seems, because they are used to the inferior method of Mag release.

Hey Mac, I have the same issue with my big hands. I need something with a long reach. Meaning the distance between the backstrap and trigger. I need one that fits my big hands. What would you recommend? I liked my vp9, but the grooves in the trigger guard bothered my trigger finger. My hands are just too big. Does your cz have a long reach? Never held one of those.

Awful mag release button. I’d never get a gun with an idiotic design like that. What a shame.
My wife and I are looking to acquire one this weekend. We presently have a P22 with this same mag release and we both love it. ( I guess it’s a chocolate or vanilla argument ) Thank you for your review. Straight forward and honest, as always.
Good concealed carry option for a double stack? I’m looking at this firearm and the PPS M2… having a tough time making up my mind.
The VP9 looks like an imitation of this.
I picked one up….trigger is very light have to get use to it but a solid gun feel great in the hand but as of now I’m shooting my G19 better…

I have a CCP and like it a lot. As much as I am interested in this gun, I just can’t justify spending 5 to 6 more bills on a gun that (looks) larger and heavier than the ccp, with a few more bells and whistles on it. I know they made improvements on the trigger, still just cant do it. If any of you gun nuts out there have owned/ shot both, let me know some of the diferences. I’m open to having my mind changed.

7 years ago you looked like a baby with only a few gray hairs kind of like me. Now I have many more greys I guess its experience or just getting older. Nice review. I have a pps which I got instead of the shield and I shoot it better then most guns I have.
