Intro Song: “Issa Trap” by Mikey Geiger
I own several of those Lancer neon green mags. Unless y’all JUST arranged those to be exclusively sold by y’all, then they aren’t exclusive to y’all.
YOUR TOP PICK is to fugly for me the MRO is the true WINNER !
Clint have been watching your videos for quite some time. They have always been excellent for some reason. On this particular video someone forgot to put. Up on the screen the name and the model number of said Red Dot. Not sure if you were aware of that or not. Just wanted to give you some feedback. Because that’s one of the biggest reasons why I do watch your videos. Is you just about always put up brand and model numbers. Of rifles pistols sites Etc. Just some constructive feedback thanks so much
I personally would not trust a AA battery to physically last 4-5 years. They will start to corrode sooner than 8 years. Thanks. SC Electronic Tech. US Navy vet.
Hi! Thx for the video👍
Can you tell me what is the shotgun in hi position on the left of the wall please?
It’s awesome
Tried-and-true iron sights.
What, no Holosun? The HS515CM is the bomb!
I have the OG Aimpoint Micro T1 and I really really love it. Super accurate, zero parallax, haven’t ever had to change the battery (had it since 2013). Can easily hit 10" steel at 150yds.
I really like the MEPRO M21 and PrimaryArms MicroPrism!
Can you suggest a red dot with a circle retical for 150 or under it will be going on a new CC scorpion 3 plus
no self powered optics mentioned?
If eotech would just add a shake awake feature iit wou bee. The perfect sight.
I know every company can/will produce a lemon once in awhile, and that Eotech has a good reputation for a reason. That being said a few year’s ago when i was shopping around for a optic to go on my "main" rifle i settled on a eotech exps2 and it died the first range trip. It was on a 16" AR so no recoil to mention but something came loose inside the housing and i had 3 separate reticles showing up. The circle dot that it’s supposed to have plus a complete separate reticle on each side of that. I will probably one day give it another try but for now I’m going to stick with the MRO.
Leopold delta pro
I have several EXPS3 and one EXPS2 my only complaint is battery life.
Does a combat optic list. Picks optics that haven’t seen widespread combat.
I’m hoping the SIG Romeo 5 XDR (circle dot with a AAA battery & MOTAC) WILL DO GREAT AND IT’S VERY DURABLE, Had the PA MD25 RDS 2 MOA and love the size durability but the glass was tinted and no shake features
EoTech and Aimpoint.
Have one of each and I couldn’t pick one that’s better.
Buy once, cry once.
I only like Holographic sites that I can detach in a second
Going thru all these videos you guys have to help in my wifes rifle build and definitely as a reference or refresher for myself. Lots I didn’t learn as a medic and just told to point n aim as one could imagine. Thanks for all these great videos!
It depends on the purpose.
For me, my Home Defense AR next to my bed is an Aimpoint CompM4S with an ARD. Iron Scalarworks PEAK 01
For my Pistol and my wife’s, we use a Trijicon RMR Type 2 1MOA. Iron Heinie suppressor height Straight Eight MOS tritium night sights.
My Wife, on her Home Defense AR, has an Aimpoint CompM5. Irons Magpul MBUS Pro
My Minute Man Rifle has an EOTech EXPS2 Green with a G45 magnifier. Irons are Troy Industry HK-style tritium sights
My Backpack Gun has an Aimpoint T2. Irons Troy Industry HK style sights.
My Car Gun has an EOTech EXPS3-4 with a G33 Troy Industry HK-style tritium backups
My Truck Gun I changed canted sight this last week. So, it has an EOTech VUDU 1-8X24MM but my offset sight was a Trijicon RMR RM06 3.25 MOA, but I changed it up some and added an EOTech EFLX.
My SPR has an LPVO in the EOTech VUDU 1-10x28mm with an offset Trijicon RMR RM06 3.25 MOA.
My Urban Rifle has an Aimpoint PRO and my Backups are Scalarworks PEAK 02 irons.
My PCP I have an Aimpoint T1. Fixed Irons HK-Style
My PCP 2 I have a Leupold LCO and my irons are Magpul MBUS Pro sights
My PCP 3 I have a Trijicon MRO HD. Irons are Troy Industry HK-style.
My Pump has Trijicon RMR Type 2 3.25 MOA mounted on a Low Weaver Mount XS Ghost Ring sights
My Semi-Auto shotgun has an Aimpoint ACRO with XS Ghost Ring sights
one time a guy in my cousins unit had his rifle fall while they were doing a training jump. the aimpoint on that rifle broke on that one apparently they had to spend the whole day serching the woods for the rifle everyone was supper pissed lol
Why is he always clearing his sinuses like he’s got a fat loogie stuck back there. Eat a Halls before recording or something.
I get the benefits of the holographic sights. But i would love to see an eotech red dot with aimpoint type battery life
Great vid!
And for what I think is worth…well DDM4 or MK18 that you have right there…combined with acogs or aimoint t2 + G33. These are a no brainers from my (possibly) biased DDMK18 owner’s opinion.
Comp M5S IF the Brightness Adjustments, we’re like T2 n not so coarse that it’s either not vis-à-blue OR Blown OUT/Star Burst with nothing in middle illumination wise.
M21 meprolight
How about a budget friendly Red Dot video
Sig Romeo 8 is working very nice for me.
When you go over each red dot you should put up on the screen how each reticle looks like for us noobs. That would be helpful. Thanks.
Just flip the qrp mount around so the knob is on the right side
I have built a copy of my service rifle, and the comp m4s is on there for a darn good reason
Unless you truly have a duty rifle, you probably don’t need more than a Romeo 5. I get it – nothing special and no tacticool, but it works.
Trijicon MRO Patrol. I have 2 of them, love em. Miss my ACOG.
Best ever are the Fairfield and the CrisonTrace!!
Looking for recommendation for a 300 blkout red dot optic. Short range only needed. Preferably less than $350. Any ideas?
Little batteries last longer than I would figure
Man. CERTAINLY ‘somebody’ has ALREADY said this Clint: Geeeeeez. The Eotech, ANY of them…AREN’T RDS’! People CRY..literally cry and WHINE because of the “lack of” battery life. It’s a holographic sight, NOT A RED dot! Research! You’ll see WHY they don’t have 10’s of thousands of hours!
Why did you say the Acog isn’t magnified? It’s a fixed 4x power scope, I have a couple, you also said it isn’t a scope? Is it a red dot lol?
I wouldn’t choose the trijicon rmr for combat red dot on a ar pistol or rifle setup being that the laser is expose and can get dust and dirt, it’s good for pistol not on a rifle and I rather choose an enclosed red dots.
This is about optics. Why don’t you show the brands and their number identification on the screen so guys like me can take a screenshot versus telling me what kind of weapon you’re holding
I’d like to hear experiences with non magnified red dot, holographic, and prisms from shooters that have astigmatism since I sold a Romeo and Juliet combo because the reticule was blurry for me
Stiener red dots
You snore when you sleep 100%. Like… loud. Keeps snorting lol
I find it hard to justify spending over 300 for a red dot. They aren’t rocket science and basically an O2 iron site. People paying 900+ are not too smart in my book.
the best red dot for a HK MP5 ?
Sorry most of us can’t afford a $500.00+ optic especially if you own multiple rifles. If I had to go into combat tomorrow my Romeo 5XDR/Holosun 3x Magnifier would work just fine!!
Sig Romeo 4T. Definitely not t2 level clarity, but 100,000hr battery life. And combat proven in Nairobi. I run mine on an arisaka offset with the circle dot setting.
Why no Sig?
I will always be a sig romeo 7 fan it’s night vision capabilities aren’t the best but it works amazing and it’s cheap. If you can afford it the comp M4 is good😒
