    I really want a .30 carbine Blackhawk

please pray my dentist appointment on monday goes well, it’d be nice if they could do something about the staining but just no cavities would be great

  2. Nicholaus N. on May 4, 2023 at 3:55 am

I LOVE my new model conversion Blackhawk .357/9mm! I honestly want another on just so me and the misses are prepared the same. It makes a great scavenger gun with the three calibers.

One could say that SA revolvers are dated in comparison to semi-autos obviously. But I couldn’t give a damn less about that. If it’s good enough in Mad Max or Book of Eli scenarios then why not??

  3. ConquestN98858 on May 4, 2023 at 3:58 am

My Dad had a 3 Screw Blackhawk 357 4.58 inch bbl… that he purchased in 1967 or so! I wish that i had a nickel for every time that shot, pulled the pin, cleaned and reassembled that wheel-gun all culminating with that two hammer click and a "Cylinder Spin" a few times! Thanks Daddy for allowing me that privilege ‘;-)

  4. Clifton Pearce on May 4, 2023 at 3:59 am

I haven’t shot one in 357, but have shot one in 44mag and the recoil is wild with 300 grain bullets.

  5. Jason Martin on May 4, 2023 at 3:59 am

    Sell out!!!

  6. Buck Wylde on May 4, 2023 at 4:02 am

    I have a new model approximately 1980. I love it ❤️

  7. Rick Tilbury on May 4, 2023 at 4:02 am

I’ve regretted getting every gun I’ve ever let go. I don’t let go of any of mine now.

  8. stanley dubois on May 4, 2023 at 4:03 am

I think the Duke told Opie load six if your insides tell you so! The Shootist.

  9. Chris S on May 4, 2023 at 4:03 am

  10. Jeffery cordes on May 4, 2023 at 4:04 am

I love the Ruger Blackhawk, I especially like the new model Blackhawk. It’s a great gun.. The only thing that I had that came closet my Blackhawk was an Uberti El Patron.

  11. MrRoverpilot on May 4, 2023 at 4:04 am

Will stick with my Super Redhawk

  12. Robbie Robinson on May 4, 2023 at 4:04 am

  13. sub dawg on May 4, 2023 at 4:06 am

awesome video re-watched it thank you

  14. Paulla Beard on May 4, 2023 at 4:07 am

May a .38sp+P be shot through the old 3 screw without risking damage to the firearm?

  15. Martin Wall on May 4, 2023 at 4:08 am

as always thank you ! please pray for my daughter a BSN nurse working in NYC as a covit 19 nurse in Jacob Javits center, a FEMA run compound for cov.19 victims. Godspeed to us all.

  16. Mr Kanook on May 4, 2023 at 4:11 am

Load 1, skip one, load the next four, pull hammer back and pull trigger slowly release hammer on the empty chamber.

  17. Ken Clouser on May 4, 2023 at 4:14 am

My choices about getting a .357 right now are between an SP101 and the Blackhawk, and I’m leaning towards the Blackhawk.

  18. Carpe Jugulum on May 4, 2023 at 4:15 am

Come on, you know that is a sexy gun. It makes women swoon and lesser men green with envy.

  19. jc6621 on May 4, 2023 at 4:15 am

Ahh one of my favorite guns. Great all around utility revolver. Great video

  20. Tim Shartzer on May 4, 2023 at 4:17 am

    God’s honesty,don’t drop your guns.

  21. BhancE on May 4, 2023 at 4:17 am

I have found that if you drop the pin between two rounds it won’t move between the casings, thus ensuring the firing pin wont set off a round. Just an easy hack I found to carry this gun with 6. Try it out and see what you think.

  22. The Narrow Gate on May 4, 2023 at 4:17 am

Have a 3 screw in .41 with the 4 5/8” barrel that my dad bought in the late 60s and it is so smooth. And I’m with you it’s literally fun to just mess with. The hammer just clicks and clicks along its travel and so true that the trigger is incredible. The .41 has a bark to it for sure. Looking to get a Henry .41 to go along with it but doubt the build quality will be even close to the ol blackhawk!!

  23. Michigun Santa on May 4, 2023 at 4:18 am

Ruger Blackhawk .357 with the removable 9mm barrel, was the first revolvers I ever bought! 👍🏻

  24. Vence McAdams on May 4, 2023 at 4:19 am

Surprised you didn’t even mention the .41 Magnum. Best revolver I ever shot.

  25. Neil Triplett on May 4, 2023 at 4:20 am

The video Buffalo did was made with my Blackhawk!

  26. Rich D on May 4, 2023 at 4:21 am

Happy with my new Blackhawk 357. Debating on getting a Vaquero.

  27. Jack Richmond on May 4, 2023 at 4:22 am

I have a ‘68 3-screw in .41 mag 4 5/8” barrel. Finest shooting handgun I ever owned, will never sell it. Also have an OM .30 carbine and a 6 1/2” .357. All keepers.

  28. Joseph Martin on May 4, 2023 at 4:22 am

It was/ is the best SAA in the Ruger line. I carried one for years in a western style holster

  29. Angel Perez on May 4, 2023 at 4:23 am

    Cuanto vale una de esas…

  30. SouthernGlockster on May 4, 2023 at 4:24 am

The stainless version of this very gun in 6.5” is about the perfect most beautiful solid wheelgun on the planet. It’s heirloom quality to hand down for generations.

  31. Rusty Henderson on May 4, 2023 at 4:25 am

I own a super Blackhawk 44 mag 101/2" bbl, and a Blackhawk 41 mag 4"bbl. Love them both. Have hunted with the 44, 41 is fairly new.

  32. Menin Black on May 4, 2023 at 4:25 am

Personally never been a fan of a transfer bar, I’ve got an old Colt SAA in 45LC, but my favorite is my Uberti Cattleman in .357, they have a first “quarter” cock position that keeps it safe from an inertia discharge.

  33. Jensen William on May 4, 2023 at 4:25 am

    Thanks!!!

  34. Agstacker on May 4, 2023 at 4:26 am

Mine is a 1976 model, stamped on the top is "Made in the 200th year of American liberty’.

  35. weaintfree on May 4, 2023 at 4:26 am

Love the Ruger Blackhawks. If I could spend a lifetime in the backcountry and could only have one sidearm to depend on for a lifetime, I’ve said it many times, it would be a Ruger Blackhawk (Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk).

  36. John Rodriguez on May 4, 2023 at 4:28 am

I finally found one at my local gun store! Can’t wait to shoot it! Gonna use it as a ranch gun along with my Rossi 92! Love your channel btw! Awesome & informative! God Bless 🇺🇸

  37. Bill Beverly on May 4, 2023 at 4:28 am

I have the Bisley version of the Blackhawk in .357. Awesome.

  38. Steve B on May 4, 2023 at 4:29 am

Now your talking my language. Mine is a 44 Mag. My first gun that I bought after turning 21. I will never sell it.
With the 44 mag you can shoot 44 special. Wow that was a long time ago.

  39. Randy Honeycutt on May 4, 2023 at 4:33 am

One of these was my 1st center fire revolver. Really liked it but traded it for something else…regretted it immediately. I currently own a stainless with the transfer bar in 45 lc. Great gun. Love Rugers.

  40. Jimmy Ruger on May 4, 2023 at 4:33 am

EXCELLENT VIDEO, You out did yourseld on these Wednesday Wheelguns / I may date young women, but now I know I AM OLD, now. Just because I am a Ruger collector , I still like an old Smith, Luv the old Colts, and enjoy many Taurus n Rossi pieces too, etc. Thank you for your videos.

    I loved my 357 and 9mm conversion!

  42. Mike Sisley on May 4, 2023 at 4:38 am

I have a convertible 45LC / 45ACP, 5.5" barrel. It is accurate and fun to shoot. Love it.

  43. Michael Garber on May 4, 2023 at 4:39 am

I have a 1974 model Super Blackhawk, in .357. Very accurate, killed 2 deer 35 yards out with head shot. Great firearm.

  44. Tom AKA Frank Conlon on May 4, 2023 at 4:40 am

God will pick and chose who will live or die depending how on how much and often you praise him and tell he he is so great. But remember he is your all loving father. What a great dad he is.

  45. Bob Marley on May 4, 2023 at 4:41 am

Most J Frames only hold 5 rounds. Carry it cowboy with 5……. no problems! Great vid Sir. GBU & your family.

  46. Donnie Brasco on May 4, 2023 at 4:41 am

Great video my dad had a 3 screw .357.
I was wondering what are the values on the 3 screw as would like to find one for sentimental reasons?

  47. Dan Troop on May 4, 2023 at 4:49 am

For the last forty years I have had a Blackhawk, three screw, 4 1/2" bbl, .357 serial #46XX. Built in 1956 it is as solid as a rock, accurate and fun to use. I believe that Ruger will update any age Blackhawk to include the transfer bar system which would make it safe to use and carry with all six chambers full. Mine is a keepsake so no changes will be made, but it will be shot regularly. Hope you can enjoy yours as long as I have enjoyed mine.

  48. Jim Siress on May 4, 2023 at 4:54 am

Glad to see your keeping the vintage 3 screw Blackhawk. Iconic firearm ! Carry On & God Bless !
