  2. That Meme on September 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

Even Cold Steel’s cheap plastic handled knives will generally have a full tang… smh… glad to see more people showing torture tests like this to show lesser known issues with "cool" knives.

Crap. I have 3. But I bought a Glock knife to use for heavy stuff

  4. Ormus n2o on September 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

You should not be able to bend that knife so easily, even if it’s that thin. That was bad steel quality, not just shape.

  5. Enlightened Mr. Arms on September 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

I don’t know what situation you’re thinking of in a survival situation where you need to use your knife like a crowbar but it’s obvious that your already making a very poor decision and screwing yourself over full tang or not in that situation. A knife is not a tool meant for prying nor are they meant for chopping trees or logs. Using a full tang knife like that will also cause it to break not to mention chip and damage the blade.

  7. David R on September 21, 2022 at 8:24 pm

Someone bought me an Ozark trails "survival knife"
I threw it in my tackle box
I have to say it’s been one of the most useful knives I’ve ever had simply because its full tang. I think the days of name brand products is over and are more of a cash grab

  8. Matthew Kesler on September 21, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Tang brittle ,blade soft. The first time you try to sharpen it you know its junk.Plus it wont hold an edge if you can get one on it.Its a toolbox knife for scraping crud off machines and digging hard dirt away from bolts and nuts. Its ok for that. It has one exceptional purpose,to make you desire a better knife.

  9. Derrick Domino on September 21, 2022 at 8:27 pm

    Use

  10. T J on September 21, 2022 at 8:28 pm

Now please, surrender your blade to the judges, and shake your competitors hands.

  11. Arthur Rapson on September 21, 2022 at 8:28 pm

    Nobody is buying that knife

  12. Suffocator on September 21, 2022 at 8:31 pm

I will still buy it because i just do a collection

  13. Former Government Human #4937 on September 21, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Military grade and fishing lures have something in common. They catch more customers than prey.
If your life might depend on something you buy quality. If you can’t justify buying quality, you can’t justify buying it at all.

  15. Last of the mouchers on September 21, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Check out the uks MOD knife made in Sheffield by j Adams, its basically a pry bar with an edge. That and my garberg are my two knives I would put my life on. I did a couple of videos on my modification of it, comes blunt so you can put whatever edge on you like, mines convex making it like a small axe

  16. I like tater tots on September 21, 2022 at 8:36 pm

  19. BDP. on September 21, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Too many times the Military will have crappy tools in the name of getting rid as much weight as possible so they can pack more on the fighter. I bet that happened here too

I have a 14 inch long buck knife that’s like 1.5 2 pounds and it’s a quarter inch thick stainless steel. Love that knife it’s what I use to cook bacon with. Pans don’t like it though.

  23. Gail McQuiston on September 21, 2022 at 8:50 pm

Now do the same thing with the one you are promoting. Please

  24. Semi-Godly on September 21, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Having worked on Aircrew survival equipment for many years. These knifes were banned from use because of how bad they were

  25. Kyle Caraway on September 21, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Full tang just means the metal goes all the way through the handle it doesn’t have to be visible. With that said the one you can see is a better version of the full tang.

  26. Bryant McDowell on September 21, 2022 at 8:54 pm

And some con artist got this pos passed through the defense department procurement and the person who passed this for military service made millions may he rot in hell that’s what a government does with taxpayers money

  27. L2FlyMN on September 21, 2022 at 8:55 pm

  30. Alvin Glenn on September 21, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Why would A buy a Knife when I make Better Ones by Hand in my Work Shop .. .

  31. Nick E on September 21, 2022 at 8:57 pm

I mean it’s a fighting knife, it’s part of a survival kit, I’m willing to bet that a Ka Bar very similar to that has saved a few men’s lves in a whole lot more serious situation than some Mora on a Camper will.

  32. Turin Turambar on September 21, 2022 at 8:57 pm

I have that exact knife and sheath, a lot darker Color on handle and sheath but exactly the same! except I was told it was my grandpas from ww2

  36. Rieki Von Wielligh on September 21, 2022 at 9:04 pm

If you have to repeatedly buy a knife, you should know its shit..

  37. Ryan Blake on September 21, 2022 at 9:04 pm

Actually that’s not the definition of a full tang knife but okay lol, both were full tang knives. One is just much weaker than the other and using a very soft steel. A full tang knife is just one where the tang goes from the end of the blade to the butt of the handle. It has nothing to do with being able to see the tang from the side although having a tang that’s the full diameter of the handle is obviously stronger

  45. YungEastwood on September 21, 2022 at 9:12 pm

All of friends in the military always say "military grade only means it’s gonna break and still work"

  46. Fred Albrecht on September 21, 2022 at 9:14 pm

Seems like a cheap stainless model from bud-k. The Military wouldn’t have knives that did that. sorry not buying your speel. I’ve had a couple and they have never been that weak. the worse thing about them is the edge profile.

  47. E B on September 21, 2022 at 9:15 pm

First thing I did when i got to the fleet was buy a cold steel srk and have flight e remove that garbage from my vest.

  48. ScreamENW on September 21, 2022 at 9:18 pm

The problem we have right now is tons of material is used to make cheap useless things cause dumb people buy it. We could be at a total different level of society right now but we just do dumb shit to make endless money

  50. Heisen Blue on September 21, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Would the bending ever be a good thing? Kind of like how skyscrapers "bend" with wind
